Monitoring OpenStack

Specific monitoring is available through the reference architecture. The network availability and throughput are monitored as well as monitoring any network breaches through the perimeter security already planned.

Nagios is the primary agent for alerting and node status monitoring. Ganglia has performance monitoring add-ins that directly ties in with the OpenStack integration.
